Timothy Melvin

Tim D. Melvin

Age 57 of Washington PA, died Friday, January 17, 2020 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh PA.  He was born on July 16, 1962 in Bluefield, WV.  Son of the late Paul J. Melvin and Stella Davidson Melvin.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step mother Erma Grandstaff Melvin and brother Paul David Melvin.  Tim Melvin graduated from John Marshall High School in 1982.  He was a member of the Pleasant Hills United Methodist Church in Sherrard, WV.  In 1984 he received a diploma in sheet metal.  In 1986 he received a diploma in drafting. In 2003 he became a certified truck driver.  In 2006 he work at the East Ohio Regional Hospital Substance Abuse Program. He was a long time member and volunteer at the St. Patrick Church in Canonsburg, PA. Tim Melvin enjoyed music, movies, sightseeing, history, holidays, and family gatherings.  Although he had many accomplishments, his greatest was his children.  He is survived by his two daughters, Stacy (Eric) Melvin and Christy (Jaritt) Melvin; his grandchildren Cadence, Mary Jane, and Bryan; sister in law Arlene, and niece Kelly Melvin.
