Sarah Meredith

Sarah Meredith, born on November 09, 1970, in the Bronx, New York City. Sarah moved to Fort Greene, in Brooklyn, New York City as a young child. As a young adult, Sarah went to school to become a medical assistant. She worked in both pediatric and geriatric care for over a decade. In 2001, Sarah moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to experience a change of scenery.

Sarah pursued her passion of working in the criminal justice field and worked for Allegheny County in the Adult Probation division. She graduated from CCAC and received an associates degree in Criminal Justice.

Sarah remained in the public service field and worked at the VA hospital, where she enjoyed speaking to the visiting veterans.

Sarah was a beloved mother and friend known for her infectious laughter, sense of humor and kindness.

Sarah is preceded in death by her mother Barbara Gaston Mateo, and survived by her three children, Tabitha Meredith, Nyasia Dowling and Xavier Chase Meredith. Also, her beloved sisters Esther Ward and Ruthy Rodriguez.
