Sandra Lou Henning (Allebach) 
Age 58 of Castle Shannon, formerly of the Northside, passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 14, 2022. 
Daughter of the late Mary Allebach and Dale Dayton. Sandy was a loving mother and leaves behind two daughters Samantha (Nick) and Ashley (Will). Sandy was the worlds best Gaga to Kaylee Rae, Arabella and Abel. Bonus mom to Becky (Patrick) and J.O. Sister of Patricia Grubjesic (the late Gary Grubjesic), Robert Allebach, Lawrence Allebach, Rose Roupe, Kathleen Allebach, Deborah Delong (the late Robert Delong) and Michael Allebach (Eric Nichols) and the bestest friend to Richie McClure and the late Theresa Gaskill. Sandy will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends. 
Sandy’s main focus and pride in life was her children. The love she had for her children and grandbabies was that of an epic love story. Sandy had a large biological family and an even larger family she spent 58 years building. Sandy never met a stranger and was the kindest most genuine person we will ever know. She made this world a better place and every day since her passing has been a little dimmer. Outside of her children and family, Sandy was also passionate about her career. Sandy spent over 20 years in management with two different locally owned McDonalds restaurants and she loved, mostly, every moment of her employment, making friendships that she still held and cherished up until the time of her death. Sandy was also an avid sports fan cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins with passion and, sometimes, frustration. She was no fair weather fan where hockey was concerned and proudly displayed her framed Malkin Jersey win or lose. Sandy’s love and passion for life is something to be admired and she will be greatly missed by all who were lucky to love her - to know her was to love her. 
A private burial will be held for family on Friday November 18, 2022. A memorial service/picnic will be held for family and friends in the summer, as summer picnics were one of Sandy’s favorite things. 
In lieu of cards or flowers, family asks that donations be made in Sandy’s name to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
