Sandra Abram Obituary

Born on September 27, 1966 to the late Vernon McMiller and Martha Abram-Porter in Pittsburgh PA. She was one of six siblings, including Betty Ann Abram, Brenda Ann Abram, Cindy Ann (Dot) Abram, Sharon Abram-Elliott, and Cheryl Ann Abram (who preceded her in death) all from Pittsburgh PA.  Sandra received her formal education in the Pittsburgh Public School System and graduated from Perry Traditional Academy with the class of 1984.  Following graduation, she and her cherished life long friend, James William Jr. became proud parents of two beautiful children.  As a devoted mother, Sandra was passionate about her family and her community.  Throughout her adulthood she was known for opening the doors of her home to those less fortunate and in need of a place to stay.  This unselfish demonstration of kindness was witnessed by all who knew Sandra and her kindness was not misused.  Sandra was known to be outspoken- although timid during her childhood days.  In addition to her passion to help others, she was an avid cook and housekeeper.  She loved to clean and kept a spotless house.  She loved her oldies but goodies.  The family could always count on her to bring her old CD's and amplifier to the family gatherings along with her newest sweat suit and tennis shoes.  Sandra departed this life on January 26, 2020 but despite her illness, Sandra maintained a passion for her children and family and leaves to mourn her daughters, Shainca Williams Streeter (James), Shataya Williams (Dante); four sisters Betty Ann, Brenda Ann, Cindy Ann (Dot) and Sharon, all of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren Ji'Waun, Ji'Aun, Saniyah, Taylor and Dante Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
