Robert Henning, age 39, unexpectedly passed away on January 2, 2026. He was born on February 15, 1986, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the beloved son of Dana Henning and the late David Jones.
He was known for his huge heart, contagious laughter, and famously stubborn ways. He was a proud graduate of Perry Traditional Academy, Class of 2004. Robert spent his entire adult life working in the restaurant industry, where his dedication and work ethic were well known. He played a vital role in the lives of his nieces and nephews, creating countless memories with them—especially during trips to Pittsburgh sporting events and special outings such as Monster Truck shows.
In his free time, Robby enjoyed spending time with friends at Café Milano and Redbeard’s Sports Bar & Grill, playing cards with family, attending comedy shows, and watching wrestling. He was also an avid dart player and participated in numerous dart leagues throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Jones; grandfathers, Roy Jones Sr. and William Henning Jr. He is survived by his loving mother, Dana Henning; grandmothers, Dorothy Petrocelly and Theresa Jones; siblings, Andrew Henning, Jennifer Henning, Thomas Andrews III, Carlene Andrews, and Tyler Andrews; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Shauna Henning, Tywan Allen, Andrew Henning, Alexis Henning, Austin Henning, Ashlee Henning, Thomas Andrews, Jaxon Andrews, Kloie Andrews, Ayla Andrews, Jace Andrews, and Jayvon Andrews; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish his memory.
