Regine Gertrude Mbango

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Regine Gertrude MBANGO, age 63. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 6th, 2025 at AHN Wexford Hospital in Wexford, PA. Regine was born on September 8th, 1961 in Bewang-BandemYabassi, in Cameroon. She was a devoted mother to her twins Sylvestre and Michelle, also to her daughter Geraldine and a son Didier. She was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to Jean De Dieu, Audrey, Daphne, Mike, Jaylen, and Loveline Indira. She was also predeceased by her parents, Father: Oscar BANG and Mother: Augustine ABONDJOH. Regine Gertrude MBANGO was known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and travels. She was often called by her fellows in Cameroon “generous lady”. Regine was a youth minister during her early adolescence to late adulthood. She was a choir member from adolescence to 2023. In 2023 Regine moved to the United States to live with her twins. She enjoyed reading her Bible, walking in the yards, and attending Gospel Life Church in Evans City, PA. A funeral service will be held on August 12th, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Evans City Gospel Life Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to UPMC Children’s hospital of Pittsburgh as a remembrance to her love of children and her position as a youth minister.
