Paul “Tony Alkey” Elsesser Sr.

June 8, 1946-September 2, 2023

Paul “Tony” Elsesser Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at his home on the North Side. Born June 8, 1946, to the late Walter and Elizabeth (Pribik) Elsesser.  Tony leaves behind his loving wife Dorothy (McShane) Elsesser; he was the loving and proud father of Susan (Leo) Augustyniak of Ross Twp, Cindy Elsesser of West View, and Paul “Tony” Elsesser Jr. of the North Side, Terri and Anthony Allen.  Cherished grandfather of Ricardo Snipe Jr, Matthew Augustyniak, George Isasky, Ryan Augustyniak, Ashley Isasky, Charles Elsesser, and Hannah Elsesser.  Proud great-grandfather of Ricky Snipe and Karsyn Snipe.  Dear brother of the late Delores Bender, the late Walter Elsesser, the late Elizabeth “Betty” Badamo, the late Robert “Bob” (Dee) Elsesser, Edna “Dolly” DeWoehrel, Mary Stipetich, the late John “Jack” Elsesser and the late Joseph Elsesser.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  He will be sadly missed by many friends, and he will never be forgotten.

Tony was the past President of the Painters Local #6. He was a member of the Youngman’s Club and Javor Hall. He was the former owner of Key West Lounge. He enjoyed Sunday dinners with his family, visiting his home in Myrtle Beach, going to the casino, scratch off tickets, working in his backyard and around the house. Tony lived life to the fullest and never backed down from anything. Most importantly he would give you unconditional love and care.
