Paul Johnson

Paul Johnson was born December 25, 1946 in Davidson County, Nashville, Tennessee to the late Mattie and William Johnson.He was preceded in death by: Sister Bettie Pressley, Brother Horace Johnson Nephew Emanuel Johnson.

On June 2, 2024 time stood still as Paul peacefully transitioned to a new home.

Paul confessed a love for Christ at an early age. He attended and graduated from North High School.During his younger years he worked as a car wash attendant, manicured lawns, salesman at Sam's Clothing Store and L/ N Railroad. He then found an affectionate love for music and perfected placing that needle on a record.Paul became well known as one of Nashville's hottest, "PJ the DJ" working at (New Era, Andrews and G's).He relocated his residence in Pittsburgh to be closer to his siblings, shortly after the loss of his mother.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Sister, Alice Muhammed; Children, Laura Winston, William Gabriel, Michelle McKinney, Paula Jenkins, Arsenio Crawford, Lauren Crawford, Paul Gates Sr. (Tierra), Charneshai Johnson, William Jackson.

Devoted Nieces and Nephews: Nena Alexander (Kenneth), Marlo Robinson (Raub) Tameka Coleman, Latisha Coleman, Daryl Johnson (Snook), Glenn Drake (Katherine).

Grandchildren: Joseph, Vanell, Adrian, Ashley, Cierra, Jordan, Paul Jr. Ebony, Marie, Kainen, Auryn, Lu'Ona, Jaydon, Aria, Tre'darius.

God children: Anthony Thomas Sr., Jasma Hall, Brian English, Olympia English
