Mary Kubinski Obituary

Mary Rose (Bogucki) Kubinski, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her community at Benton House Assisted Living in Woodstock, Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024, in what was to be her new home, Melbourne, Florida. Born on September 6, 1937, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mary was the daughter of Laura (Lecznar) Bogucki and Michael Bogucki and grew up alongside her sister Eileen (Bogucki) Bennett-Clark (New Port Richey, FL) in a close-knit family.

Mary was the devoted wife of the late Edward Kubinski, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage in Ambridge, PA. Together, they built a loving family, raising two daughters, Cheryl Cargill (Bryan) and Deborah Matta (Michael), who survive her. Mary was a proud and doting grandmother to her four grandchildren: Matthew Cargill and Shaelyn Cargill of Marietta, Georgia, and Tiffany Matta and Sara Matta-Ciliberti (Spencer), who brought great joy to Mary's life.

Throughout her life, Mary was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family. She created lasting memories with her children, grandchildren, and extended family, including numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Mary's legacy is one of love and devotion, leaving behind a family that will continue to honor her memory and cherish the values she instilled in them. Her gentle spirit and generous heart touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her children, extended family and friends.

A funeral mass will be held on December 4, 2024 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, located in the heart of Mary's beloved northside area of Pittsburgh, followed by burial at St. Augustine Cemetery in Millvale. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary's memory to a charity of choice, reflecting her lifelong commitment to generosity.

Mary's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As her family and friends gather to celebrate her life, they will remember her as a beacon of kindness and a source of unwavering support and love.
