Martha (Pirt) Cumashot

Martha Pirt Cumashot of Clarksville, PA has made that eternal trip to Heaven to meet her Lord & Savior. Martha (Mart) was born to George & Elizabeth Pirt. She was one of 13 children.

Martha is survived by her daughter Kimberly Cumashot of Clarksville, PA, Sisters Roberta (Bobby) Dugan of Isabella, PA, MaryJane Black of Narchez, MS, Hannah Stevens of Brownsville, PA, Wanda (Wendy) Williams of North Olmstead, OH, & countless nieces, nephews, & friends.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Cumashot, parents Elizabeth and George Pirt, brothers George (Chic) Pirt, Jerry Pirt, & Joe Pirt, & sisters Donna Frisco, Patricia Dunseath, Grace Glagola, Sarah Parsons, & Betty Flick.

Martha was a hard worker, sending money home to her family, working to provide a loving home for Kim & Johnny. Mart could often be seen walking the streets of Brownsville with Kim in tow, or always at the Wal-Mart. Her legacy is long. She will be missed. Rest high on that mountain. We'll see you again!

Martha's family would like to thank her Doctors, Nurses, & The staff at Lazosky's Personal Care Home for the care and attention they took with Martha. They also wish to say THANK YOU to her Guardian, Lisa for everything she did for Mart in her final years.

A small graveside service will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday March 5, 2026 at the Redstone Cemetery in Brownsville, PA.
