Marie Miller Obituary

Marie Miller, age 65, a previous local of the North Side, but resided in Brookline, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026. Beloved wife of Charles Miller and loving mother of Jennifer (Justin). Proud Mimi to Gabriella and Brady. Dear sister of Catherine, Sandy (Bill), Mark (Janice), Ronald, Donald, John (Tammy), and the late Lisa and James, godmother to Kyrstin, and sister-in-law to Patrick (Lisa), Maryann (Cate), and the late Anna and Robert.

Marie had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s when she was 61. Before she got sick, some of her favorite things were having a morning coffee and yogurt, cleaning her home, going to church, the color purple, playing Jacks on the kitchen floor, babies, and her family. She made sure she was always up on time in her uniform at 4 am sharp every morning. She always went to church every weekend; She would go on Saturdays because Sundays were always too crowded and there was never any room in the pews.

Marie always had a bright smile and was always laughing. She was a kind and gentle soul, strong and loving. She loved being around people and was an engaging conversationalist. She adored telling stories about her grandchildren to anyone who would listen.

Marie spent her last moments with her family, listening to oldies music as she peacefully rested her eyes. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, huge heart, hard work and dedication, endless patience, unwavering love and support, and her lifelong commitment to helping others. She was greatly loved by her family, friends, and God.

Visitation will be held Thursday 2 to 7 PM at Stephen M. Brady Funeral Home Inc. 920 Cedar Ave., Pittsburgh PA 15212.

Funeral mass will be held Saturday 10 AM at St. Boniface Church. Burial will follow at Christ our Redeemer cemetery.
