Lavette Marie Howard

Born November 22, 1971 at Allegheny Hospital and was called home on November 27, 2020.

Lavette grew up on Pgh Northside. She attended Pittsburgh Public Schools. She loved cooking, music, and puzzles. But nothing compared to how much she loved her Husband, Family, and Friends.

Vette is proceeded in death by her mother Berthelda Naomi Jay, Aunts Donna Jean and Charlotte “Becky”, Uncle Charles, Lester, Johnny, and Donald.

She is survived by her husband Giselle “Redd” Johnson, her sons Antonio Sanders Jr., Raphael Howard, D’Angelo Harper, Ja’Wan Johnson, God-daughter Tra’Qaei Robinson, Father James Miller, nine grandchildren Sariyah, Ke’yanna, Liam, Lilianna, Laylah, Aaliyah, Kosol, Jordan Cross, Ma’Kyiah Harper, Safeara Harper, and Daughter-in-law Kira Sanders.

Sisters Tradessa Pass, Rondla Jay, Jada Howard, Brothers Carl Howard, Norris James, Aunt Almetta, Uncle Jay and Raphael.

A host of Beautiful Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, and many Cousins, friends, and family.

The Family wants to thank you for your love and prayers in this time of need.

Though her smile is gone forever, her hand I can’t touch

I still have so many memories.

I love her so much.

Now my keepsake I’ll never part

God has her in His Kingdom, I in my heart

Sadly missed but never forgotten.
