James Powers Obituary

Jim Powers, 64, of Slippery Rock passedaway peacefully on Sunday.
He was formerly of Spring Hill in Pittsburgh and was the beloved husband of 44 years to Debra Powers.
For 48 years, Jim was employed by Giant Eagle in the produce department.
Jim was the loving father of Jim (Tammy), Mike, Steve, Dana and the lateRonald Powers. He was Pap of seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; the brother of Tom (Judy), Linda (Jim) Barr, and Dan (the late Mary Lou) Powers and the late Dave Powers; also his nieces, nephews and many friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Theresa Powers.
POWERS - Visitation for Jim Powers, who died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdaywith a blessing service at BRADY MEMORIAL HOME, 1151 Southside Ave., Pittsburgh.
