James Milton Moon

James Milton Moon

James Milton Moon was born March 28th, 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

And departed this life on July 27th, 2020. 

James was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School system

And was a graduate of Allegheny High School.

He had several jobs: J and L Steel and Pittsburgh Recycling Center.

James accepted Christ at an early age and was a believer ever since. 

He always loved playing basketball and was on many teams during his life,

But what he loved most was spending time with his friends on the Northside of Pittsburgh,

Especially those he grew up with in Manchester.

He had a heart of gold and knew how to bring a smile to others. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Moon, Father, Raymond Franklin,

Grandmother, Mattie Franklin, grandfather, Charles Franklin, and his sister Priscilla Franklin. 

James leaves to cherish his loving memory: his sons James Jones, James Greene,

Brother, Raymond Franklin (Viola), and a host of relatives and friends.

Special friends Mary Greer, Shirley Spears, Chris Saunders,

Velton Kenney, Avis Gist-Nolen and Gladys Jones. 

James will be missed by all who knew him and

The world will surely miss the bright smile he had for everyone who crossed his path.
