Harry E. Saputski Jr.

Age 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 of Spring Hill.

Beloved husband of 62 years to Bernice Saputski.

Loving father of the late Renee (Michael) Sadowski and Denise (John) Melcher.

Pap of Justin (Hillary) Saputski and Luke Melcher (fiancé Amber Mills).

Brother of Ronald Saputski and Beverly (James) McCutcheon.

Son of the late Harry and Anna Saputski Sr.

Harry retired from Pittsburgh Outdoor Advertising, later to become Lamar Advertising after 47 years.

 He was instrumental in the development and maintenance of some of Pittsburgh‘s most iconic signage. 

He was responsible for the Alcoa/Bayer board on Mount Washington, the Westinghouse and Clark Bar signs on the North Shore and the Horne’s Christmas tree.

He was also a pensioner with IBEW Local # 5.

In lieu of donations please honor his life by following his example of commitment to family

 and pride in a strong work ethic.

Visitation will be Monday 10 AM till 12 PM with blessing service 12 PM at
