It’s been almost one year since you quietly departed this life
on Monday May 25, 2020
At Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Elizabeth’s beautiful spirit is still remembered by all and
Lives on in her two sons: Carter White of Butler, PA. and
Gavin Herrera of Marietta, OH.
Elizabeth was born October 4, 1982 in Butler, PA.
to the late Joseph and Rosemarie Matis Jr.
She attended Butler Catholic School, graduated from Butler,
and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish.
Although she is proceeded in death by her parents and
her late sister Marguerite (Rita) Matis.
She is survived by family and friends.
Her devoted boyfriend, John Drzemiecki of Pittsburgh, PA.
Her siblings, Mary Frances (Christopher) Pugh of Atlanta, GA.,
Melissa Matis of Pittsburgh, PA., and Dean (Carol) Matis.
Her niece, Audrey Pugh and her nephew, Thomas Pugh.
Elizabeth was hard working and a true friend to all.
She worked as a housekeeper, electrical
and locksmith assistant. She also enjoyed drawing.
She believed in complimenting and building others up.
Her radiant smile will never be forgotten.
