Age 89, passed on Wednesday December 27, 2023
Of Spring Hill. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loved one.
Beloved Husband of 66yrs. to Gail Brandstadter.
Father of Gail (James) Buchman, Edward Jr. (Evelyn) Brandstadter,
And the late Earl Brandstadter.
Loving Grandfather of Jessica, Andrew, Emily, Edward, and Evette.
Great Grandfather of Jayla,
Madelyn, and Jameson.
Brother of Dorothy Welch, Gyla (Richard) Bagwell,
Diana (late Charlie)Tatton, Mike Brandstadter, and the late
Wanda Lee Meyerl, and Arlene Eckles.
Edward is predeceased by his parents Edward and Madeline
and grew up in the East St. Valley.
Edward served in the United States Marines during the Korean War.
He worked for many years for P&LE railroad and CSX railroad companies.
He loved to laugh, sit in the sun, sleep and when he was younger, enjoyed,
golfing and taking road trips.
In honoring Ed’s wishes, there will be NO VISITATION
A burial will be held at a later date at
National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
