Dana Lanette Whitted

Daughter and loved one Dana Whitted's love of life didn't come to an end with her death.

Dana was born on September 6, 1996, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

and passed away on February 24, 2025 at age 28

after suffering from a severe respiratory illness surrounded by loved ones

who will continue to honour her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

She was easy going, her smile was so beautiful and radiant,

she was always happy and playful. She was very innocent.

She was very loving and caring. She recognized her family and her family loved her.

Anyone that met Dana was touched by her innocence and beautiful smile. Her family loved watching her play with her dollies.

There were certain ways that Dana would move her hands to express herself. Even though we didn't know what she meant, we knew she was trying to tell us something or show us something.

She Always reached for her mom. Dana leaving us today is going to be a very unhappy moment for us because she brought so much joy to us. We love you, Dana.

Dana is survived by her beautiful and loving mother Dawn

Butler, father Lance Van Whitted, sisters Marquea and Marche Roberson, brothers D'Shawn, Lance and Christopher Whitted, grandmothers Gloria Jones and Cynthia Whitted, uncles Dorian and Gene Butler, and Daniel Whitted, aunts Tracy Whitted and Victoria Jones, nieces Shawnese and Shawnae Dwyer, Mackenci Watson, and nephew Jaxon Watson.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 4, 2025

from 12-2pm at Stephen M. Brady Funeral Home Inc.
