Clyde Holcomb Brown passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024 at the age of
70. He was born on January 31, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Arthur Grant and Iris Braxton.
Clyde graduated from Fifth Avenue High School. He then went to work at Hussey Copper factory as a laborer.
Clyde mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. He also loved watching sports and walking his dog Buddy.
Clyde loved music and dancing, he was the life of the party. He used to have jamming sessions
where he played the trumpet with other musicians. Clyde also loved playing basketball with childhood friends
in the Hill district. In the community he was known as "Pencil" because he got straight to the point.
Clyde left behind to mourn his fiancé Marianne, children Clyde Jr, (Tasha) Michael (Raquel), Pariss, Devon, Anthony, Nicole, Christina, Lisha, Christian, Trisha and David. Clyde was preceded in death by his sister Renee and nephew Milton Lee Henderson Brown and is survived by siblings Lee Brown (Peanut), Debbie (Reggie) Marlon (Sharon) Alvin (Cindy) Vernon (Karen) Lawrence, Carla, Rhonda (Mark) Tamica (Richard) Leslie, Gail and Leonard. He had 19 grandchildren a host of nieces and nephews', and family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew Him.
