Amalia Stamoolis

Age 90, passed away peacefully

in her sleep at her apartment on

April 4, 2020. Amalia was born in

Chios, Greece on April 14, 1929

to the late Xenophon and Anthi Thomas.

Amalia came to Pittsburgh in 1954 with her

Husband and two young children whom

She raised lovingly. 

Due to the language barrier

she had much help from God, the Holy Trinity

 Church, family, and friends.

Her Husband George sadly passed away in 1980, 

followed by her sister Elli in 2017, and her brother Neofitos in 2019.

She is survived by her son Peter (the late Renee), 

and daughter Effie (Gus).

Aunt of Gus (Maria), James (Evelyn),

Anthi (Panagiotis), Xenia (Ilais), and

Andreas (Ava).

She will also be missed by extended

family and friends.

Amalia loved to sew, gardening and

Flowers. In lieu of flowers donations may be

American Cancer Society and St. Clair Hospital

A Private Family Visitation and Burial will be held

On Tuesday April 7, 2020.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date
