MARIE T. (GSELL) KROSTYNE
Of the North Side, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the age of 94. Marie was the beloved wife of the late John Krostyne. She was the loving mother of Michael (Pam) Krostyne, Rose Marie (Edward) Scheid, Marianne Krostyne, and David (Chris) Krostyne; and the perfect grandmother to Stephen (Olga), Diane, Joshua Carson, Kara Carson, Rachel (Scott) Sedmak, Jonathan (Meg) Scheid, Michael (Ashley) Scheid, Elizabeth, and Matthew Krostyne. Marie is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Melanie Krostyne. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and four sisters. Marie loved spending time with her grandchildren and cheering on the Penguins and Pirates. Visitation will be Friday 1-4 and 5:30 - 8 p.m. at STEPHEN M. BRADY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 920 Cedar Avenue (Across from AGH). Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Church, 2208 East St.
